Returns:

bytesToString

public static String bytesToString(byte[] bytes)

Convert a byte array into a character using a simple zero-extension into 16 bits for each byte. Note: The resulting string is not in UNICODE.

Parameters:

bytes - an array of bytes.

Returns:

a string of 16-bit characters
